The role

This is an exciting time to join our newly formed Here for You Team!

Here for You is a key part of our ‘Turning the Tide’ strategy and we have ambitious plans to expand the service across the UK, so that more people affected by breast cancer can access support that’s right for them.

You will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of the Here for You personalised referral service. This includes being responsible for day-to-day operations, supporting volunteers and acting as a first point of contact for healthcare professionals.

About you

You will have experience of supporting the delivery of services for people with health and social care needs and coordinating volunteers. You will have excellent organisation, time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

You will be passionate about supporting people affected by breast cancer and helping to expand our reach.

About us

We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future.

We’re that trusted friend that people affected by breast cancer turn to for caring support when they need it most. The expert authority on breast cancer research who is making breakthroughs and driving forward progress. And a vehicle for change, acting now to make sure anyone affected by breast cancer gets the best possible treatment and care.

We believe that we can change the future of breast cancer and make sure that, by 2050, everyone diagnosed with the disease lives – and is supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Although the role is based in our Sheffield office, we are following a blended approach between office and home working with a minimum of two days per week in the office for full-time staff members. Should you have any queries with regards to this please email Recruitment@breastcancernow.org in the first instance.

Breast Cancer Now is an inclusive employer committed to developing a diverse workforce.
