The role

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team at an exciting time of growth for Breast Cancer Now.  This is a new role and is part of our commitment to investing in and developing our Health Information and Services marketing programme. 

It is our ambition to be recognised as the place to turn for anything and everything to do with breast cancer.  This role provides an exciting opportunity to apply your marketing skills across our Health Information and Services programme, ensuring people affected by breast cancer know we’re here, with support services, trusted breast cancer information and specialist nurses, ready to support whenever they need it.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the teams across Breast Cancer Now to plan, deliver and manage a programme of marketing campaigns and communications, growing awareness of our support and information offer, amongst key audiences.   A key focus of the role will be to manage marketing activity in key moments (e.g. Breast Cancer Awareness Month) which will support and enhance the brand strategy.

The post holder will work across a full range of paid and owned channels, collaborate with both in-house and external agencies to develop creative and media plans and monitor and report on campaign performance to drive maximum impact and value from our marketing investment.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who is passionate and enthusiastic about growing awareness of our support and information offer for people affected by breast cancer. 

This is an important role for Breast Cancer Now and one which requires relevant experience in developing marketing campaigns, across a range of channels.  The role provides a great opportunity to work with stakeholders across the charity and with external agencies to support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns.  As such, you will possess exceptional communication skills and be adept at building positive working relationships with people at all levels.  You will also be dedicated to delivering exceptional creative work with a strong attention to detail. 

The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced project manager, able to work at pace and manage multiple and competing priorities. You will be experienced in setting and monitoring budgets and delivering and evaluating results.

Most of all, you’ll be as passionate as we are about making a significant difference for people affected by breast cancer.
