We’re excited to announce that in April 2019, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now united to create one charity for everyone affected by breast cancer. From research to care, our new charity has people affected by the disease at its heart – providing support for today and hope for the future. United, we can carry out even more world-class research, provide even more life-changing support and campaign even more effectively for better services and care.
By bringing together our passion, energy, expertise, funds and networks, we will make greater progress in more effective ways to make sure that, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and receive the support they need to live well.
The role of technical and systems lead is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technical database expert. As part of the charity merger, there is a project to deliver one CRM system going forward. This role will play a key role in delivering some of that work, while also supporting the connecting tools and systems that work with the CRM to best create an effective and efficient ongoing data infrastructure.
Working with an expert team of consultants and a strong and skilled in-house team, this role will assess and support how our systems fit together, what business developments are needed, and also assist with technical support for some of our systems.
We are looking for a technical data expert with strong ability to explain complex data work to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ideally we are looking for someone with outstanding abilities in SQL, combined with a good understanding of charity databases (ideally Blackbaud CRM) and the import and export tools that work around them.
Successful candidates would have experience of integrating databases with other systems (finance, digital) and in analysing and assessing business requirements.
