About the role
This is a crucial role in our newly merged and re-structured Philanthropy team, which includes major donors, trusts and special events. An externally focussed, relationship manager role, the postholder will be responsible for cultivating, engaging and stewarding high level relationships and building their own portfolio of donors.
The postholder will work closely with the Prospect Research and Insight Manager to maximise all opportunities and ensure a robust prospect pipeline.
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative relationship manager, you will have prior experience of Major Gifts fundraising and a well-developed understanding and knowledge of philanthropy in the UK. You will have experience of soliciting 5 figure gifts from high net worth individuals and trusts and a track record of meeting challenging income targets as well as experience of being part of bigger asks alongside colleagues and senior volunteers. Experience of high level giving clubs is desirable. You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of communicating complex information to a variety of audiences.
